My Review of the Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E.M Wireless Keyboard
In my opinion this wireless S.T.R.I.K.E.M keyboard is pretty lightweight than I had expected it to be. It doesn't way more than my tablet. The feature that I like best is its adjustable back-lit keys allowing me to shut the lights out and enjoy my game with the lights out. Another cool feature of Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E. wireless keyboard is that it uses an optical finger navigation technology which is something very advanced and seen it for the first time on a keyboard along with its dedicated mouse buttons for navigating the Internet and playing video games.
With its Bluetooth connectivity and a sleek volume dial for audio adjustment, I can control almost every device from Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E.M Wireless Keyboard since it is compatible with almost every electronic device I have at home from PC to my Android phone and laptops to tablet to smart TV.
With its built-in trackpad and dedicated buttons that can function well with all my connected gadgets such as smartphones and tablets, this wireless keyboard has become my most prized possession, giving me full control over all my devices. It also comes with a stylish device stand that allows viewing from various angles, and also comes with a soft travel case that covers and slips over the keyboard keeping it dust free. The wireless keyboard has a rechargeable Lithium polymer battery giving it around 45 hours of portable energy. It seems like the battery lasts forever, I haven't recharged it since one month and the keyboard still shows a green light.
Ever since I bought this wireless keyboard I control all my device while perching on my favorite sofa. Whether I want to stream movies on my smart TV. With regards to its typing speed, I found the keys to be quite smaller than those present on a standard keyboard and on this wireless keyboard the keys are clustered together. So if you are one of those people who prefer touch type at full speed as they would do on a regular sizes keyboard, it can be a challenge for you.
But since I have medium sized fingers, this wireless keyboard has been my companion wherever I am around the house. I can type with my regular touch-typing speed and it works fantastically well for me.
Disadvantages of Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E. M Wireless Keyboard
The keyboard functions are quite different from a regular keyboard which puts it at a huge disadvantage.
- In order to use ESC key you need to hold down the function key
- The up arrow is shifted to the right
- Space key is difficult to press with the left hand because it is also shifted to the right
- The number keys are shifted to the right compared to standard keyboards
